We create and implement world class immersive and interactive visual, sonic and media environments for gallery, opera, stage, events and screen through our creative and production team and consulting partners. Our work has been seen at venues worldwide from Perth to Paris, from the Paris Opera to tiny site specific installations in the Santa Cruz mountains.
We also help artists, performers and makers to create compelling works embracing the live and the digital — to build bridges of art and placemaking between industry, stage, gallery and academia to research and develop new tools and possibilities for art and culture involving video, technology, place, and performance.
37 North is led by media and video artist and visual designer Ian Winters, along with a team of fantastic artistic, design and technical collaborators. Named after our home latitude, 37 North is a California benefit corporation rooted on the shores of San Francisco’s East Bay but creating and supporting innovative place centered arts and culture worldwide.
